That afternoon, while Ada is eating her snack (and sharing with Bob!) the doorbell rings. Carrie answers the door and lets her landlord, George Myers, in to show him the sink.

Mr. Myers glances at the table and sees Ada feeding Bob. "You know," Mr. Myers says, "You're not supposed to have pets here."
