The Wisconsin Supreme Court only agrees to review a small number of the cases that come before them.

In order to take up a case, at least 3 of the 7 justices have to agree - in the case of Myers v. Smith, the justices decide the case has no merit.

This means that the Appeals Court ruling stands - Ms. Smith and her daughter may not be evicted.
